As your councilmember, I will maintain an open-door policy, hosting regular town halls, and community listening sessions to ensure your voices from District 4 are heard to shape our cities policies. Together we can build a stronger, more vibrant and prosperous Clovis City.

Why I’m Running:
Hi, my name is Brian Wilson. I’m proud to be running in District 4 for Clovis City Council! I moved to Clovis in 1985 as a longtime resident of this community. My decision to run comes with a deep commitment to ensuring our neighborhoods remain a safe, vibrant and prosperous place to live, work and raise our families. Over the years I have listened to the concerns of my neighbors regarding our local infrastructure, economic opportunity, traffic and public safety. District 4 deserves proactive leadership that will listen to its constituents and advocate tirelessly for our shared future.
About Myself:
Born in Walnut Creek and raised in Concord, I moved to Sonora, California, in 1976 and graduated from Sonora High School in 1981. Shortly after graduation, I began a lifelong career dedicated to public safety and emergency services.
My career began as a volunteer firefighter with the Tuolumne County Fire Department and continued with the California Department of Forestry, where I served as a seasonal and Heli tack crew member. I also worked as a Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Deputy and as an Emergency Medical Technician on an advanced life support ambulance.
In 1984, I began serving with the Mid Valley Fire Protection District, now Fresno County Fire, eventually becoming a permanent firefighter and Fire Apparatus Engineer. In 1991, I transferred to the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, where I completed my career as Fire Captain, retiring on July 19th, 2012, after more than 30 years of service.
My career has given me a deep understanding of leadership, emergency response, accountability, and the importance of protecting the communities we serve. As a candidate for Clovis City Council District 4, I will bring that same commitment to public safety, responsible leadership, and putting the well-being of our community first.
